Essential responsibilities and duties'

The role of PSP Asst. Analyst is to support the administrative and training activities of Global purchasing team and to help build the purchasing support platform (PSP) scope.


The main responsibilities are:

  • Support on all activities managed by PSP within the team


Most done activities would include


  • Data Cleaning and Management
    • Responsible for managing global purchasing Data
    • Would need to manipulate the data to fulfill the needs of Purchasing requirement
  • Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Reporting
    • Actively support team members to delivery reports on time with efficiency and without any escalation
    • Contribute in the development and acquisition of any report managed between PSP
    • Improve efficiency and time reduction contribution in most of the reporting task
    • Creation of Macro for time reduction/automation, etc
  • Functional Support on Purchasing IT Tools
    • Support on Purchasing IT tool Functional support – ticket resolution (Buyer + Supplier)
    • Support on Data cleaning and management + Analysis
    • Improving efficiency by creativity in the task
  • Communication
    • Presentation skills + co-ordination and follow-up + Reporting
  • Coordination with Different Stakeholders (Survey)
    • Would need to make templates for standardizing the follow-up and coordination activity
    • Coordinate with different stakeholders for required needs and track the response and report them accordingly
  • Work on standardization of Process and optimize it for increasing the efficiency



NOTE:selected candidate would be trained on purchasing IT tools



The ideal candidate should have:

  • Professional Degree – Bacheleors / Masters degree any field (except coding or Engineering)
  • Should have knowledge in subject on Finance/Accounting/Maths
  • Experience – N/A
  • Fluency in English (verbal, written and presentation skills)
  • SAP knowledge would be an added advantage (Optional)
  • Good Hands on knowledge on MS Excel, PPT
